The Firestone 721 steel belted radial tire was original equipment on many full size sedans from the 1970s. Coker Tire is proud to offer the LR78-15 size, which is perfect for 1971 through 1979 Cadillac, Lincoln and other full size American classics. This new radial tire features the original tread design, sidewall lettering and 3/4-inch whitewall, offering authentic looks and modern radial performance. These Firestone radials are made in the USA and they are thoroughly tested to exceed DOT regulations.
This product features a genuine narrow whitewall sidewall style. This means that the bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. When we reference "narrow whitewall" tires, we typically mean a whitewall that measures less than two inches, but it can also mean a whitewall that does not reach all the way into the bead. Narrow whitewall tires are popular for many cars built in 1960's all the way into the 1990's.
S Speed Rated: Up to 112 mph (180 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level classic automobiles.
The term "bias look radial" is something that Coker Tire created when we introduced the American Classic bias look radial product line. This means the tire has the appearance and the sizing profiles of a vintage bias ply tire, with modern radial construction. This provides an original look with a smooth ride and longer tread life, compared to bias ply tires. We offer bias look radial tires for vehicles ranging from the 1920's through the 1970's.
